June Robinson, LMT
Advanced Lymph Drainage Therapist
Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
If you’re looking for a good massage, I can do that.
But if you’re looking for more, if you’re ready to explore how bodywork can change not only physical, but mental, emotional and, for some, even spiritual limitations, then we’re meant to work together.
As a CranioSacral therapist, an energy worker and a massage therapist, I have been in practice with the Center for Complementary Medicine since 1992. I work with adults, children, infants, newborns – even in utero. And I love clients who offer challenges for me to utilize my extensive training to provide help with problems ranging from general stress and muscle tension to life-threatening illnesses.
If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to get my hands on you.
After receiving my degree from the University of Texas at Austin, I began my career in advertising and graphic design, becoming Executive VP/Creative Director of Ed Yardang & Associates and, thirteen years later, becoming owner/president of my own firm, June Robinson et al., Inc.
I loved my work, life was good – and then I had a car accident. Two surgeries and a long recovery period followed. During a routine therapy session, I had a cardiac arrest and a near death experience. It was profound. It was life-changing. Because in it, it was revealed to me what I was to do with the rest of my life. So when people ask me how I chose this profession, I can unhesitatingly say that I didn’t. It was given to me. And I am so grateful every day.
I have been a bodyworker for 20 years, licensed in the state of Texas as a Massage Therapist and certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. I have undergone extensive formal training as a CranioSacral/SomatoEmotional Release therapist with both Michael Shea, PhD and with the Upledger Institute. In addition, I was extremely fortunate to train and see patients with the late Cranial Osteopath John H. Fox, DO. I am an Advanced Lymph Drainage Therapy practitioner as well as a practitioner of the Brain Curriculum of Bruno Chikly, MD. I have extensive training in both Eastern and Western based forms of energy work, including Polarity Therapy and Reiki. Always loving soft tissue work, I continue to enjoy utilizing my skills in myofascial release and therapeutic massage.
Simply put, I love people, their stories, and how they have come to me. I work with clients of all ages – from newborn to ninety-nine. I believe in the body’s ability to self-regulate its healing, and it is my intention to compassionately assist my clients in this process.
